Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

IncomeLab (incomelab.app) is an online education platform. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights. Contact: support@incomelab.app.

2. Data we collect

• Account data — email, name, and avatar (from you or your Google account when you sign in with Google), username, bio.
• Learning data — quiz answers, paths you start, lesson progress, exercise answers, notes, XP and streaks.
• Income logs — amounts and notes you choose to enter in the Income Calendar.
• Community content — posts and reactions you publish on the wins board.
• AI mentor messages — the messages you send to the mentor, plus the learning context above that personalises its answers.
• Payment data — handled by our payment processor (Dodo Payments). We receive your subscription status, never your card details.
• Technical data — basic logs (IP, browser type, timestamps) for security and debugging.

3. How we use it

• To provide the Service: your courses, progress, tracker, community, and subscription.
• To personalise the AI mentor and recommendations to your path and progress.
• To send transactional email (welcome, payment receipts, important account notices).
• To keep the Service secure and debug problems.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use third-party advertising trackers.

4. AI processing

When you use the AI mentor or AI tools, your messages and relevant learning context are sent to Anthropic (the AI model provider) to generate the response. We send only what is needed for the feature to work.

5. Where your data lives

Account and learning data are stored with Supabase (our database and authentication provider). Payments are processed by Dodo Payments. The app is hosted on Vercel. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and data-processing terms.

6. Cookies and local storage

• Essential — authentication cookies that keep you signed in (Supabase).
• Preferences — local storage for your theme (light/dark), cookie choice, and mentor chat history on your device.

We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

7. Retention

We keep your data while your account exists. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we must keep records for legal reasons (e.g. payment records).

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under GDPR), you can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and you can object to or restrict certain processing. Email support@incomelab.app and we will respond within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

9. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email before they take effect.
